Support Worker

Why I Work at CAMHS

I have now worked for CAMHS for 9 years and thoroughly enjoy my job: every day is different. I enjoy supporting young people in all every day aspects of their life. I assist the clinicians and young persons in any areas they think they would like to try but just need that little bit of extra help in doing so.

My Skills and Interests

I have worked with children & young people now for too many years to mention, I have worked with children/young people with varying disabilities, physical health & mental health issues.

I have previously been nominated by a family and won an award with Alder Hey for the support I was able to offer this family: something I am very proud of.

I enjoy supporting families with extra needs that just need that little bit of extra support for a short period, helping to put some therapies into practice with the young person.

A Bit About Me

I have impressed myself recently by going to Boot Camp and Insanity classes, I have previously been known to be very lazy, I love eating cake (that’s why I need to go to boot camp). I love going on holiday to hot countries to sunbathe all day and eat out of a night.

I have lived abroad a couple of times but came home due to being homesick.

I love shopping just need a lotto win now!  Love watching TV especially reality shows on ITV Be.
